Looking for a new venue.....
Running With Scissors is looking for a new venue to either hire on a sessional basis or to rent. Lots of natural light is needed and plenty of plug sockets. Either parking or good bus routes are also important. We are open to suggestions so please drop us an e-mail at info@rwssheffield.co.uk if you know of anywhere which may be suitable - thanks

I will be on the welcome desk on Sunday morning helping out at another fab craft fair organised by Craft Candy, the fair takes place on both Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th, at the Workstation (next to the Showroom cinema). For more information about the fair check out www.craft-candy.org

Rainbow Fish Tales
I’ve had a fun evening tonight making a funky rainbow fish as a sample for a family event coming soon. It’s made from willow and tissue paper and is ideal for everyone to have a go at. I managed to get covered in glue and glitter and even added sequins to the fish as a finishing touch. I’m planning to take a picture tomorrow so I’ve hung it up in one of our windows tonight...

This weekend I’ve been tracking down willow supplies all over the country, I’ve talked to many lovely ladies (and men) about species, rod lengths, soaking times and all the other associated willow type subjects. Sculpture at Chatsworth

After so many months of planning Running With Scissors it actually has a web presence which is both exciting and scary at the same time! I hope everyone out there likes the deisgn and finds it easy to use.
